As the gateway to the Algarve, Faro Airport (FAO) is served my numerous charter holiday and scheduled airlines, mostly from the UK, Holland and Germany.
Some 5.5 million passengers plus pass through the airport every year via its single, well-equipped and efficient terminal.
The terminal is spread over two floors, with Check-in and Arrivals on the ground floor and Departures upstairs on the upper level. The terminal is modern and well laid out and serves all foreign scheduled, domestic and charter airlines.
